What Data We Collect
AutoimmuneCalc collects minimal data. Specifically:
- Analytics data: This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, general geographic region, and device/browser type. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The site also records anonymous usage events, such as which calculator was started or reset and which related-tool link was clicked. These events never include values you enter into a calculator or any result. This data is used to understand how the site is used and to improve content.
- Contact form submissions: If you submit a message via the contact form, the content of your message and your email address (if provided) are collected. The form is processed by Netlify Forms, which also applies automated spam filtering. Messages are kept in the site's Netlify account until they are deleted, and are used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Email updates (optional): If you subscribe using the form in the site footer, your email address is collected and stored by MailerLite, our email provider, and used only to send updates about this site. Subscriptions are confirmed by email, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
- Calculator inputs: All calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser. No clinical data you enter into any calculator is transmitted to or stored on any server. AutoimmuneCalc does not collect, store, or process any clinical information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to support usage measurement. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Apart from Google Analytics, the only other third-party code on this site is the optional email signup form provided by MailerLite, which may use its own cookies or browser storage to run the form. There are no advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting mechanisms.
How Data Is Used
- Analytics data is used to understand site usage patterns and improve content and usability. It is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
- Contact form data is used only to respond to your specific inquiry, and addresses sent through the contact form are not added to the mailing list. An address you give the subscription form is used only to send site updates.
- No data collected on this site is sold, licensed, or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Given the minimal data collection practices of this site, the most relevant rights are to request deletion of a contact form submission or of your email subscription. You can also unsubscribe at any time using the link in any update email. To make a deletion request, use the contact form.
